Samuel Lino: “I want to do my best and improve the team”

Samuel Lino is one of the players with more participation in the team this season. The Brazilian player is showing great skills and also a remarkable ability to adapt to try to help the team in whatever is needed. After scoring against Real Madrid CF in the Supercopa and on the verge of the Copa del Rey tie against Sporting de Gijón, Lino has spoken to VCF Media.

We want more

Our team are confident, and the game against Real Madrid in the Supercopa gave us even greater confidence. We're training better and we're happy. I think that we're going to improve a lot now, and we're going to put together a run of wins.

Copa mode

Sporting are a team who are very well placed. They have good strikers and a good defence, and their stadium is really nice. It's going to be a great game and a great challenge for us. We are going to work hard over the coming days to get to the game ready to go through to the quarter finals.
We know the importance that the Copa del Rey has for us. I hope that we get to the final this year and can bring the trophy back to Valencia.

Key moments

The game against Real Madrid gives us extra motivation. We have to keep working hard and be rested and ready. The cup is difficult and LaLiga is difficult, so we have to keep working hard and rest well to respond well to the challenge of games every three days.
